I would love this but its not realistic

I know Lucic is a good locker room got and what not that provides some toughness and whatever else he does. But to Detroit he's a straight cap dump. He would cost at minimum a first and probably a B prospect. Or someone like Coronato or Pelletier and a second. Something like that I would expect. Then maybe if the package is good enough so we add Erne.

While the Eichel proposal is fairly reasonable, the hitch would be Sabres retaining any salary for the next 5 years on Eichel's contract - whether it's good business practice as a sweetener to get a better deal or not, the principle of paying a player who is forcing his way out, publicly and privately, will be too much for the vain Owners to accept. And if they were somehow to be persuaded by Adams to swallow their pride and retain some of Eichel's cap hit (maybe even up to $2M/Yr), then the Flames package would have to be slightly upgraded - Coronato, while taken 12th, was the 38th overall ranked prospect. Substitute Pelletier in for Coronato and make the 1st rounder unprotected if the Flames somehow were lottery eligible and it would seem fair for both sides

Detroit keeps Erne, And zero chance of Lucic waiving for a rebuilding team like Detroit.

I've been told already.
Erne for Luc was only done to make cap work.
I really like that return for Eichel.
Dube is an NHL player
Zary is a year or two away
Coronato was a first round pick from last year.
A first this year, giving Buffalo three this year.
If Calgary fans like it I do as well.
Could I suggest one change, add Lucic to the trade and drop the Eichel retention.
Milan is then bought out by Buffalo and can go where he wants.
When Okposo's contract expires, Milan's cap hit to Buffalo will only be $510,416 for two more years.
Every body wins, Calgary gets the cap space, Buffalo receives and excellent return, Milan gets bought out and can go play with any team that wants him.
I am sure there are many teams that would take him at $1,000,000.
