With Brad Lambert being left off Finland's U20 roster for the upcoming 4 nations tournament next week and his surprising slow start to the year, anyone think he may drop like Aatu Raty, maybe not as far as the 2nd round but not a consensus top 3 pick?

Apparently hes trying to come to NA and play in I believe the WHL. Makes sense as Liiga seems to not be a good fit for him. Cause as we saw with Raty once he plays with peers his own age he should thrive

Ironically Raty went back to Liiga and struggled to the point where he and some other guy were traded for Rindell (Leafs prospect lul)

So now I get to watch Rindell and Niemela play together, Should be fun

I’ve seen that JyP HT Jyvaskyla has been trying to utilize him as a C which has not worked out

Maybe thats why he got traded. Honestly not a smart Idea for him to go back to Liiga as its not easy for prospects to thrive there. And the ones who do are the ones to watch for. Back to Lambert he should have went to the WHL and once he turned 20 Lou could assign him to the Tigers.

No way this team should be a last place team with that level of firepower.

Rindell will need to pick it up, his rights expire this year should the Leafs want to sign him

He should as Karpat has a very good defensive system and their coach knows how to handle prospects. Not all survive the system (Raty) but the majority often thrive. Just look at Niemela, quiet last year but the coach saw potential in him, worked on him, and now hes on pace to tie Heiskenen's Points Per game numbers from when he was in Liiga. Wont score as many goals but still pretty impressive.

It’s nice Niemela is finally getting PP time. He’s going to be a very important prospect for the Leafs

What it does mean is that the leafs are a weak team that can't create good scoring chances.
