Hard to argue with Chabot, but man Drake Batherson is a different dude this year. I've been big on him since they drafted him, but he looks like he's ready to make the jump from top six forward to elite NHL forward.

Seider is a great choice but I could also argue for Bertuzzi. The team doesn’t look the same without him on the ice.

Talbot's been pretty up and down, although that's with the caveat that the defense hasn't been great in front of him so far this year.

Still, I'm not panicking just yet, when it comes to the blueline. It's early yet, only 10 games in, and half of it is new this year. Expecting them to be stellar out of the gate is lunacy. So if they haven't settled down by the TDL. Then I'll worry.

But Talbot's keeping us in it, most nights. That's true. And certainly isn't getting any favors from the D-corps due to them just letting everyone waltz into the high danger areas. But the MVP so far has to be Moose. Except for that game against the Aves, where everything seemed slanted against us. Foligno has sparked us whenever we needed a lift or done whatever it took to keep us in the game. If not for him, the team would of rolled over and died too many times to count. There's a reason why he's the heart and soul of the team. He's our MVP so far this year.
