I suppose it's possible, but certainly not likely, that PITT may be interested. The rest decline quickly and firmly.

Not sure if a 3rd gets 3.5 million in retention. I would think a second in this draft would, doesnt have to be chicagos second. Not sure who else is selling cap space, a future third seems light.

The Blackhawks will more than likely have a new GM next season. Do you think Chicago makes this many moves with an interim GM?

Unlikely unless we continue down the diabolical path we were headed. The game today brought about some optimism now the coach is gone so I think you will prove to be right that we won't be overly active.

How is that a no from BOS? You're getting out from Coyles contract, and are getting Toews for 2 cup runs... Something that Bergeron, Marchand and Rask have left no?

Burke always does some sort of blockbuster. Kane for 2 cup runs with Malkin and Crosby seems legit to me

5th is usually worth 1mill. So I x3 it. Helps BUF stay on the cap floor

I don't know telling the truth. I think the new full-time GM will yeah. I also think its time to move on from Toews and Kane to just start fresh yk?

I know he isn't. He still oversees and has a major say in what trades happen.

Fleury for Koskinen AND Holloway AND two good picks ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahaha

Please for the love of god explain to me how a 37 year old goalie who you got for free and is having a horrible season is worth a goalie who is playing better and our top prospect. From an Oiler perspective, I can't even fathom how someone puts this proposal down. Holloway was a recent first round pick who was up for the Hobey Baker last year. He has played incredible in college thus far and the Oilers are all really really high on him. How does 37 year old goalie having a s*** season return that.

As it stands right now, the Oilers have no reason to move Koskinen for Fleury, one for one. Both are expiring deals and not viable solutions beyond this season, so we keep whoever is playing better this year. The fact that you think the Oilers need to add a top prospect and picks is beyond me. This is the kind of post that makes me take a week off of visiting this site

First - Coyle has an NMC so that is not happening. Doesnt need to either.

Second - the org is so bereft of prospects they can’t give away the only pieces worth anything for a past his prime player. If they are getting a long term solution for top 6 center it’s one thing. This isn’t.

Third - they are not a cup winning team with or without Toews

That oilers trade is now the worst post I have ever seen lol Koski is outperforming fleury by alot rn. I don't see Chicago getting more than a 2nd for fleury

No for Boston. We're already hurting for quality prospects and your asking for Boston's top 2 prospects + a 1st.

I'd say moving UFAs get what you can for them. If they decide to move Kane I'd wait until next years TDL by then he will have about $2M in cap hit left with retention every team could afford him. If I was a Blackhawk's fan i probably wouldn't like the idea at all.

Costs more. Already at floor. Nobody selling cap space.
