I appreciate the creativity of the SJ trade, nice to see some new creative proposals, that being said I wouldn't make that trade even if Kane was half retained if I were Vancouver. Vancouver is a long ways off from being competitive so I would personally rather just wait out Myers' contract at this point than add the cancer that is EK and worry about his influence on the young players. I disagree with people saying SJ doesnt make this trade, if your willing to burrow 7 million in the minors you make this trade (assuming there are no better offers of course).

I think there will be better offers for Boeser and I personally wouldnt target a 27 year old as the main piece coming back for Boeser.

I would make the COL trade for sure if I were VAN.

Yeah, I don't think trading for EK is a good idea because it's the last thing this room needs. I go back and forth on if SJ would do it. Obv having Myers playing for the big club is better than Kane sitting in the minors, but also maybe they get a better off if they retain on Kane.

Like I said, Pearson could go anywhere. Not to nitpick but with 1mil retention Pearson (barely) becomes the cheaper player.
