Habs and Rangers headed to OT and my heart can't handle it. I'm calling a GWG from Phil Danault.
Don't say things like that, are you mad?!
I have to say I've been disappointed in Pacioretty for most of this series. He's getting shots and sometimes you can't bury them, but it's noticeable that he isn't getting in hard on pucks, digging, and getting low to the ice. He's also been fairly lackadaisical with his stick checking, but he's not the only one guilty in that department. So I want Pacioretty to come through right now, moreso than Danault.
Such a disappointment tonight, but it's just a continuation of ongoing issues that were improperly addressed over the last few years.
I almost choked tonight when the commentary said something about King speeding or moving fast (can't remember what he said because I was trying to breathe).
Now we need to make that 13-0 season opening happen in the playoffs somehow. Or at least 2-0.

I here you. Don't feel King is the problem though, maybe not the solution either.
The problem IMO was Markov looked his age, Emelin reminded everyone why he is a bottom 6 dman, Beaulieu is a guy we need to move at all costs in the offseason, Weber was mostly solid as was Benn and Petry well needs a intense training on understanding that he is allowed to score goals in other way than shooting from the blue line. On a breakaway he'd still manage to skate around the net on the periphery and start skating back into his own zone so he could give the puck to someone else so he could change......................MTL needs overhaul that defense.
Conditional 7th round pick (TOR - 2018) - What the condition is.
That way it isn't for nothing. I don't see why you wouldn't just give the 7th without a condition if you're getting a 2nd out of the deal, but I don't see anything wrong with it from a technical standpoint.
It is going to make it harder for you guys to keep track of that pick though. So make sure it only appears on one of your rosters and both teams have it properly noted in the additional notes of the trade.

Not that I necessarily disagree, but a chunk of that is a side effect of not developing your prospects by denying them the playing time they need to grow or using them in roles they aren't suited for, which were hallmarks of the Therrien regime. Lefebvre hasn't been very good for development in our system either, imo. Beaulieu being shipped out wouldn't surprise me at this point, but he's not the weakest link, imo.
