It's 3 games and the team played like **** Infront of him all three of those games. If you watch those games he makes key saves but when he needs the team to help him they don't leading to easy goals for the other team. He also would be thrown right back in just after recovering from his groin injury.

I believe he will do much better now that he has had time to rest and Keefe has drilled it into his guys heads they need to play Infront of him like they do Campbell

Also were extending Campbell lul who is probs gonna sign a Lehner deal

liligren will get less than a mill
Kase's current comparables make 1.45-1.85

Cap won’t work with Campbell at 5m+ and keeping Mrazek (I don’t think a team would want him). The problem is Mrazek cap hit, that was a mistake by Dubas. He didn’t have to sign another goaltender that expensive

Already did the math and it's possible

All they need to do is buyout Ritchie or Holl, and trade Kerfoot

With those 2 moves and the 1mill cap bump they got the space even with Mrazek

Ho sang signs a league min deal, nylander goes to Lw new 2nd line Nylander-Tavares-Ho-Sang

Joey stays permanently and most likely we see Holmberg on the third line and with all that they can have a 22 man team

Ok but it’s unlikely they go with this avenue

Duchene. RyJo (traded for a VERY highly regarded D prospect). Seth Jones. I mean the Leafs paid a first for Foligno last year. Scale that up and Miller's looking at what was quoted.

This is JT Miller. You are right - the guy who at 50% retained would make around 1/3 of Tavares salary and produce as much or more.

Why would the Canucks trade him for any less?

Cause all of your examples ended up being awful trades for the buying team? Miller's good but he ain't McGreztky.

Duchene got traded for a 1st RD pick (just got lucky it ended up a top 5 pick) but it was basically a 1st + a bust who never played a single match in the NHL, a condition 3rd RD pick & a cap dump. RyJo was a 1 for 1 trade, like Hall-Larsson, Subban-Weber. No top prospect or 1st RD pick included

Yes JT Miller, who is top 10 in the league in points and in this scenario costing the Leafs 2.6 million against the cap. You aren’t getting him without giving up anything of top value. Add a 1st and one of Amirov/Niemela instead of Robertson and you’re at his value for 50% retained

So a 1st Amirov and Kerfoot for Miller 50% retained
Deal ?

What's their cost/point tho.

Don't look now but since joing Van Miller's PPG is 0.99, Tavares in the same time is 0.96

I would also say add a 2nd for retention + Schenn, but I would say that’s about fair yes

A first + Girard who's a bonafide T3 D

I would trade Miller 1 for 1 but the Leafs realistically have no one they would trade that's interesting.

Again the Leafs paid a first for Foligno at the deadline - Foligno sucks, scale up that cost and Miller's price is a lot more than Robertson, 2nd, Kerfoot especially at 50% retained.

And it would be an awful trade for the Canucks to get no top level assets for Miller

Girard was included because of Turris, it was a 3-way trade
