Avs goalie is swiss cheese ride now. Price would literally give them a cup

Miller, Garland, Boeser is solid, Hoffman would complete that Top 6. Not sure if Hoglander or Podkolzin is ready for it

You forgot Horvat, Pettersson and Pearson, we have a pretty solid top 9. Adding Hoffman is not what the Canucks need. We need a young, top pair RHD and Pettersson to start shooting again. The only forward from Montreal I would be interested in is Tofolli since he has chemistry with some of the Canucks players and only if we could get him for a steal.

Price has been a below average goalie the last 4 seasons and hasn’t payed a second in 8 months

I live in reality when it comes to price, maybe you should do the same

Price has yet to play this year and might not. I don't think you can say he would literally give them a cup. Also, there's that whole salary cap thing, even with $3M retained could Colorado manage that for another 4 years?

Reichel was untouchable in the Jones trade, but you think we'll trade him for Petry? Especially when we have Jones/Murphy as RD and Petry is in the twilight of his career at 34 years old? Not gonna happen.

Price hasn’t played this year, outside of the playoff run that in any ordinary year MTL doesn’t even make the playoffs Price is an old expensive goalie. The Avs MIGHT be interested in 50% retention but names that 100% aren’t included are MacKinnon, Makar, Rantanen, Landeskog, Kadri, Newhook, Toews, Byram, Girard, Burakovsky, Nichushkin, LOC, Barron, Olausson. COL isn’t trading for a 34yr old goalie that hasn’t played this year. COL is NEVER trading for a 34yr goalie with 4 yrs at $7.5M.

Avs easily decline. Newhook alone has more value than Price

Canucks laugh and decline. They have no need for Hoffman or his bad contract

Chicago very easily declines as well

Many scouts have said if montreal retains a significant amount then they could get a 1st and a prospect minimum. I only have newhook and a second. Am I not in reality even though I listen to scouts? Avs will forever be a second round choker unless they get a playoff goalie.

Many scouts are not the GMs of other teams, scouts dont set trade demand on the market and the trade value of players, There is no scout that is that influential that a team would trade for price bc they said so

resulting to insults to a team just shows how weak. your point is, if you cant have a conversation without resulting to playground tactics and insults to make it sounds stronger, you already lost then

Yeah that’s what they are willing to give up at 50% retained.

Also if Price were so good, why do MTL fans continually trade him.

years ago the Avs had the worst record in the NHL, and how many cups has Price won. MTL fans are such revisionist, Price has a good 2.5month run and all the sudden he is vintage pre-disastrous contract.

Can't speak for everyone, but the ONLY reason I want to trade him, is so he can win a cup. I'm not looking to dump him or get rid of his contract, or I'd be giving him away and it wouldn't have to be to a contender.

I'd even take him back at no charge if that team ever wanted to get out of his contract early. Give him 2 or 3 years somewhere else, rebuild while he's away, then bring him back.
