That would be nowhere close to enough to acquire Zub, a legitimate top 4 RHD.

Ritchie for Del Zotto has some potential (although the Sens get the lesser player by a notable margin there, so they would be expecting something else in return especially if they're retaining), but Dermott and a 3rd is nowhere close to enough for Zub and a 5th.

Aren't people very high on Zub? I believe he will cost more than that. Would be interesting to get him though.

Zub is not a legit top 4 defenceman. Sens fans love the guy but his advance stats are not good. He's not as good as Holl. He's just another RD that everyone automatically thinks is going to be so much better than the defenceman helping TO be a top 6 team in GA/G in the league.

I never said he sucks, and his possession stats are not neutral, they are below 50% across the board. He's the norm on a bad team. Good players rise above the rest, Zub does not.

Below 50% with below 50% oZone starts….pretty much neutral.

And sure, star players typically rise above the rest. Nobody is saying Zub is a star, but he’s a lot better than you’re giving him credit for. If you can go and get 6 Cale Makar’s you should do it.

Sure and I am not arguing for this trade. All I am saying is there is no point in getting him. He's a 3rd pair guy in TO and you can get just as good if not better 3rd pair guys for way less than sens fans think Zub is worth.

I mean most leafs fans want to trade Holl, that says enough for me about what they think of him. Zub has mostly been playing with Mete, Michael Del Zotto and Holden lol in mostly defensive starts
