Stop sending us Petry. It's not happening and Letang isn't going anywhere.

Letang is UFA next summer .. Kent Hugues is like his dad smile , maybe you might think start a think about a replacement on the right side ( Petry ) wink
But fair enough ,, i'll ship him elsewhere .
The real transaction i wanna discuss is Chychrun !

1) What exactly are you giving TOR for those picks? - if you think it's Chariot, you're delusional.
2) You're not getting a first for Lehkonen
3) PIT has no interest in Petry, oost teams don't ntil he turns his play around
4) EDM isn't that deperate
5) If any of the other trades were actually realistic, the offer for Chych would be fine.

Letang wants to win. No offense, but MTL is heading toward either a rebuild or retool otherwise you might have a shot at him. Letang has already said he wants to finish his career in Pittsburgh.

You don't think Chiarot would fetch a first and a plus ? It kinda reminds me why last cup picture was in white and black. Yes i think Chiarot ( as reported by major site) will return a first and a prospect ( i put a second by lazyness of finding the right meh prospect .

Many people would be surprise by Lekhonen value . Again quoting major analysts.

Edmonton allright this one is very debatable or maybe far fetch a little .

Thanks for your comments , im not expecting every fans to agree

Cap casuality are on the way for Pens .. and it's been reported that Letang have refused a 3years deals.. Now that doesn't mean he's outta town , i agree. Mtl can offer a 3years 20M contract HOME ...

Buy my uncle anti-vax is convinced that Giroux , Perron , Letang , Bergeron and Deslauriers are all gonna come win the cup for peanuts and a life time supply of Pepsi ! CONFIRMED !!

A first and second with no retention? No ones giving you a first period without 50% retention for Chariot. Possible B prospect along with it for depth.
I think Lehkonen is an excellent 3/4 liner who can kill penalties. That's not gonna garner a first IMO, but if it's a low first, it's possible. IMO itt's a second at best or a B prospect and a 3rd (both with retention).
If Allen was playing better, I'd totally get in on him if I'm EDM. I actually thought he'd be the best option for EDM at the beginning of the season. I don't know if it's the team or him, but something has been off with his play.

The pens and Letang have already agreed money wise. It’s simply the years. Letang wants 4, pens want 3. The pens will eventually give him the fourth year rather than lose him for nothing. The pens also have over 30 million in cap space. Malkin has stated he is willing to take a significant decrease in salary. If there is a cap casualty it will be Zucker.

True i made that quick .. first thought was with retention , no prob about that ! i'll give you that about Chiarot ! We easy retain .
Lekho is rumors to have 3-4 teams really interested .. should we add a little , why not ?
Edm i understand ... the point is to get a first for Arizona ( tho a 2nd from Mtl would do the same , right?) if so delete this one .

The priority is to talk Chychrun deal . The rest thoses players are probably gonna be trade for this around or valuable young ( french-canadian?) players

Will give him whatever he wants ! How about that ? Better get a Petry while you can , beside , you can use him for a cup run , pass him at the draft ( Detroit come to mind)
And keep your hometown Letang cause you'll bring him a cup ! Best of luck to your squad !

all things considered, we arent touching the playoffs with a centre core like that, we also dont have any players there who can drop 70+ consistently so good luck trying to outskill florida/tampa/colorado/vegas

before anyone says anything, they got their 1C now, stephenson was never a true 1C

If this was Petry from a few years ago sure, but he’s terrible now with a terrible cap hit. No way anyone is paying anything for him. And Letang wants to finish his career in Pittsburgh and win more cups. Those are things Montreal can’t give him.

It's already been widely reported that teams are calling about Petry and see his value as it was not how he is playing now. Lebrun even interviewed multiple GMs asking about him and all said he still had good value. Unbelievably Petry may actually get traded for a good haul, this trade deadline or off season but Habs fans have been told to expect very positive assets coming back for him

Cool, he can go to one of those stupid teams then. I guarantee the pens don’t find value in Petry

Ignoring everything else, it would be extremely difficult for one team to acquire that many 1sts. Only 2-5 are even spent at the deadline, and the average is closer to 2.
Montreal is hoping for 1 of those (Chiarot), but even if 5 are moved, there are several players more likely to get them from other teams.

So because one rumor guy says they will wait till the off season to trade him you think GMs are lying to Lebrun about his value? I don't get the correlation but sure

It’s not just 1 place saying it. It’s literally all over the internet lol. Funny how I can’t find anything about Lebrun saying he has value at all 😂

As someone who follows Pittsburgh sports media closely there's been ZERO reports he turned anything down since there hasn't been any offers yet, so stop making things up, or produce these "reports." If you do not, I will report this thread, so if you do not have any proof, change your statement.

The Pens have the means of clearing up the space they need. Don't worry about us.

Edmonton has literally 4 NHL goalies, they don't need a 5th to make it near impossible to get rid of. Skinner is NHL ready, They're actively trying to get rid of Koskinen, Smith is 39 - Stalock is rehabbing in the AHL.
not to mention they have Konovalov and Rodrigue ready for advancement in the AHL.

The Oilers need a number 1 goalie not another back up which Allen is.

Oilers laugh and hang up the phone on you.
