Keith and Ceci have seriously been way better then I thought they were going to be, Koskinen was Chia, Smith %100 deserved a extension after the way he played last season and this year he has been struggling with injuries

DoPS is a joke. No I don't care that Marchand has a history and DoPS has missed on him before, that's just more proof that they suck. They shoulda suspended him for other things, this was a roughing minor, maybe roughing + high-sticking if you want to really ding him. A suspension is a joke. The max that shoulda been was a $5k fine because who cares about that. The fact that Foligno got a third the games for kneeing someone's head into the ground is frankly unacceptable.


Player ends players career

Fans: ban him for life

DoPS: 1game suspension and a slap on the wrist

If they miss the playoffs, heads will roll. Imagine PIT missing the playoffs with Sid and Geno healthy all season when they were 24 years old. Losing is unacceptable when you have 2 truly elite players.

Yeah. This franchise is a case study on why you don't overspend on UFA's before you're a true contender. Lucic should never have been signed. His contract set the whole nasty cycle in motion.

Technically they already did 2 years ago when they lost to MTL in the Play-In

But its up to interpretation as technically play-in can = playoffs to some

For me EDM had one of the worst offseasons in history. They had a ton of cap space in the summer and added this:
D Duncan Keith (38) acquired by trade — 1192 GP + 135 playoff GP
D Cody Ceci (27) signed as UFA — 549 + 36 GP
LW Zach Hyman (29) signed as UFA — 345 + 32 GP
LW Warren Foegele (25) acquired by trade — 200 + 33 GP
C Derek Ryan (34) signed as UFA — 345 + 15 GP

Then they extended their UFA's:
LW/C Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (28) — 656 + 21 GP
G Mike Smith (39) — 642 + 29 GP
D Tyson Barrie (30) — 610 + 30 GP

Nuge I can find reason for but Barrie made no sense with Bouchard, should have kept Bear, and not going out to address their goalie situation (Ullmark, Andersen, Holtby)

All of EDM problems are on Hollland and are completely wasting the prime of McDavid.


And it's not getting any better next year.

Marcus Niemelainen is on is way from Bakersfield and there is rumors that Broberg is with him, Woodcroft already giving the young guys more of a chance then Tippet ever did.

Well guys, the gun shots I heard the other day turned out to be deadly. Down my street 1 person was killed and another is in critical condition. They were driving up to the highway and a person drove by and shot them. Life is pretty tough
