Probably both teams, I know St Louis isn't trading Parayko after just resigning him this past summer.

The Parayko you and everyone else on this site is thinking of hasn't been around in like 2 years.

His contract is awful, nylanders on the other hand is fantastic.

Leafs easily say no and laugh at you

Leafs. Back when this was often proposed a couple of years ago, Parayko was probably better than Nylander but it was closer to even in value. Now, Parayko is good but not what he once was, while Nylander keeps getting better and better in all aspects of the game. Parayko's recent extension that takes him to 36 years old at 6.5M certainly doesn't help either. Leafs decline

This season, he's been around, just has been very hot and cold. And the mistakes he makes on cold nights are just plain silly, too. Losing the puck in his skates and **** like that. Last season, dude's back was killing him, so cut him a break on that. There's also been times when he seems to struggle with the concept that his game doesn;t need to change just because he got bumped to the 1st pairing.

But more to the point here, the Blues don't need forwards and they would not be able to replace Parayko right now, which is the main reason why they would also pass. Also, I'd imagine Army has faith that Colt will find himself in the new role.

I would think it's pretty clear that TO is the one to say no.

Nope, it never was close to even, we all knew Parayko was really good but Nylander showed so much potential and most on here refused to acknowledge the high ceiling he had.

You do know what "both" means, yeah? Toronto is half of the both. So I did say Toronto passes.

I highly doubt if this was offered that St Louis would say no. It's a clear win.

I explained exactly why they'd say no. They're already concerned about finding a D upgrade on the left, so they obviously are not going to get rid of a 24-minute RD for something they don't need. But hey, you go ahead and imagine otherwise if it makes you feel better somehow.

Blues don't need another forward and I don't think Toronto wants to give up Nylander at the moment. So neither.

Both pass. Toronto passes because Nylander is probably worth more right now and the Blues pass because their defense would be crippled.

Sure bud, that's just fan thinking. Any smart GM is offered a 100% winning trade offer you make the trade and then find a different way to plug other holes.

What are you on about? How do you go plug in a top pairing 6'5" top shelf skating RD hole in mid-season? It's like you think Toronto is the only team contending.

How so exactly? Like what are you on about? Good grief.

And AGAIN, I said the Leafs say no. What a bizarre hill to die on.

Parayko is big and is a good skater but he's not looked the part of a #1 defenceman since Pietrangelo left and Parayko was forced into tougher minutes. You aren't replacing a #1 defenceman, you would still be looking for a Pietrangelo replacement but you turned Parayko into a better player who's younger and has a great contract.

Not even remotely. It's a word salad that doesn;t even begin to address what I said. And AGAIN, the Blues do not need any scoring wingers. They have them falling out of their ears.

So tiring.
