Its an interesting honeymoon period thats for sure.

It will be interesting to see how long it lasts as often as soon as a team gets its first loss under the new coach thats when things either stabilize or once again fall off.

No idea why its just a weird thing in the NHL that happens whenever a team gets a new coach and goes through what I like to call the Process.

Their next 5 games will be where they can really show they are legit as lets be honest the Jets, Wild, Lightning, Panthers, and Hurricanes are tougher than the Kings, Ducks, Sharks, and Islanders who all just seem to be getting ready to sell at the TDL.

As for the goalie I got a sneaking suspicion its Korpisalo as they seem to be circling around him

Iirc the Flames can't trade for Gio because it would count at cap circumvention. Any deal that saw Mark going back to Calgary would have to be with Giordano at 100% full salary and I don't think it's feasible for the Flames.

Can’t sign it if he gets fired. I’ll personally poison Luke Glendening’s coffee so they have to put Blake Comeau in the lineup to replace him, then they miss the playoffs which results in Nill being fired (openly admitted by Owner that he could lose his job if not in the playoffs).

The Pacific is so bad they're almost guaranteed a wildcard spot tbh. Dunno if the Jets have the horses and neither Chicago nor Houston currently have NHL teams.

Idk if they really were planning to bring him back as apparently they tried to add Chiarot to the Toffoli trade but didnt want to pay another 1st or something. Basically MTL was not gonna discount them even if they were gonna take 2 players

Flames dont got their 2022 1st which will be an issue for Seattle as if another team offers a 2022 1st they probs will move to the front of the line unless Calgary overpays.

In general, Gio even as a rental will be expensive (Savard price + potentially). I dont know if the Flames are comfortable doing that as moving two 1sts in one deadline is very risky.

As for MAF I got a feeling hes going home to Pittsburgh as Desmith ****ing sucks and they need better Jarry insurance. Plus I dont think Holland is comfortable paying for the asking price

Well Blake Comeau in lineup=miss playoff’s, so…

Hopefully he never plays hockey again, just like hopefully Bones never coaches hockey upon next year.

Even if the Stars make the playoffs with this coaching staff we’ll get no where.
