These are all very reasonable. In fact, toronto is flat out robbing you.

I just don't see us moving Rossi (or Boldy). I don't think we'll be the landing spot for Miller, as much as I'd love him. We don't have the cap space to keep him beyond this year.

Toronto would add a third if they could get that deal from you. Or an A prospect (as in Abramov or Abruzzese.)

GM Has no money, not no interest.

I mean you are probably right, but there was an article last week stating he's not interested in player's like Miller who will they have to resign and also, he's not trading any top prospects

They would go more down the Rangers route if they had the $ of a first and 2 B prospects, like Beckman and Hunt. That being said, even if Van retained half over the next 2 years, money still doesnt work.

how the hell are these your values. lohrei + lysell vs liljegren + kerfoot. what. lohrei and lysell both have a future star ceiling attached to them. i think lohrei could be a solid top pairing dman at the moment. lysell has top 6 future star written all over him. he should never have dropped to 21 in the draft. but like for you to want that from the bruins and the ask for kerfoot and liljegren from the leafs. thats a joke.

Source?

If you're talking about Russo's post on the 14th, those were all his thoughts and speculation. He never outright said "the Wild have moved on from being interested in Miller". He just pointed out it would be hard to make it work.

He said the idea he gets from talking to people around the organization is that Guerin isn't very interested in trading his top prospects or his 1st. Guerin, during his whole tenure here, has also repeatedly said that he won't be sacrificing the future for a short term fix.

It doesn't take a massive leap of logic to see that trading 1st+Khusnutdinov or whatever you want to package, for a piece like Miller or Giroux or Hertl, isn't Guerin's priority at the deadline.

These are so inconsistent... First you would accept Barron, Jost and a 2nd. Then we get to Minnesota and *BAM* Marco Rossi. The value doesn't match at all. Then we move forward again and you would accept Liljegren, Kerfoot and a 2nd? Why does Minny have to pay Rossi? Why doesn't Khusnutdinov, Gaudreau and a 2nd do it if it does for the Leafs and Avs...?

You're missing my point. I said Russo doesn't say Guerin doesn't want Miller. I didn't mention anything about the deal above or prospects or anything else. Solely whether the Wild want Miller.

I want a brand new Aston Martin, but I don't want to part with the money it would take to get it. What's the point of me continually bringing up that I want an Aston Martin?

I didn't miss your point that the Wild are interested in Miller, it's just that it doesn't matter if they're interested if they're not willing to pay the price to get him.

Because costs change? Fletcher wasn't interested in Stewart when the Sabres were seeking a 1st round pick but when the deadline hit and the Sabres called back saying they'd take a 2nd, a deal was made. That doesn't seem hard to understand now does it?
