It's not even that someone got hurt or he was head hunting or anything devastating. It's that everyone knows what his intentions were. I don't need to asked someone shooting a slap shot in net whether or not their intent is to score. It just is. Subban's intent was stop Hagel by any means necessary even if that meant putting Hagel into a dangerous situation with higher degree to injury. Thank goodness no one was, but when you intend to put other plays into bad situations...you get a reputation
