he's almost 31 and makes 6.5 million for 5 more seasons after this one and he plays the left side

Exactly. Let the offensive heat up again and get a true top 4 defenseman and they are cup contenders. Just a slump that exposes what they really need, they’ll be fine

Ehhh I would have agreed up until about 2 weeks ago. turnovers, particularly in our own zone, lead to most goals against early on, and they still are a issue (barbys pass in the 3rd prime example) but as of late we are getting smoked along the boards. Not just talking about the hit buchy took tn, but we are losing board battles in all 3 zones. That’s why we can’t hardly sustain any offense or cycle the puck and have to rely on scoring off the rush. Not saying we have an identity crisis after a 2 week stretch of bad hockey but this might be a deeper issue with roster construction. Sunnys inability to execute at 80% health is a huge issue we shouldn’t overlook either. Anyways, we will learn a lot over the next 12 days or so. Not sure if the rumors are true but looking at a guy like Owen Tippett might makes sense on the ever changing 4th line.

As long as production stays around where it is, no problem. The issue will be that last year or two. Schenn's contract is way worse.

That'll be a no for the Jackets; additional LD are the absolute last thing we need, and we can't afford to lose Gavrikov.

Im not the op but im a blues fan
hes a big playdriver for us hes on of the few consistent hitters too
id say for the briuns if army does look to move schenn which i could see happening as thomas and kyrou need new deals in 2 years
proably a 3rd/4th line player preferably right handed, a first or prospect of same value, and a second ish
his price may vary a little and hes on a massive hot streak rn so i tried to not super include that

just curious because im higher on him than most but would a first senyshyn and say another meh prospect get it done? i think senyshyn if given the opportunity is a legit 20/20 guy in the nhl. they just wont bring him up for whatever reason. if you dont like senyshyn steen is also a really solid option. another guy i wish the bruins would give opportunity to, maybe next year.

Maybe I’d say like Craig smith, first, and a meh prospect/project might work
