I'm gonna bet that when all is said and done on deadline day, Rangers haven't traded you Cuylle or Robertson for Chiarot, let alone both.

Do a few good games really drastically increase a players trade value right before the TDL? My guess is that the teams already have assessments of players and on ice performance doesn’t drastically change that much, maybe only a little.

You are right, but at the deadline guys like him will be overpaid for. Not something stupid like Valimaki, but a 3rd definitely seems like the type of overpayment you see.
