Team: 2021-22 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 13, 2022
Published: Mar. 13, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Trades
MTL
  1. Dumba, Matt
Additional Details:
Saw a Heldge Gans + 3rd for Dumba
MIN
  1. Mailloux, Logan [Reserve List]
  2. 2022 3rd round pick (ANA)
Additional Details:
Mailloux has been great this year in the OHL and has done everything set out for him. He benefits from the smaller market with less media attention and the Wild get a great young player. Is this a fair trade value wise only.

Don't troll, as I said this is based off a previous Minnesota ACGM. Mailloux made a stupid choice as a teenager has paid his dues and taken several sensitivity trainings as well as seeing a Psychiatrist. He deserves the right to prove that he has learned from this experience and the only way he gets a fair shake is in a smaller market with less media attention.

No team is giving up any asset for Mailloux. To think that Minny would trade Dumba for that guy is preposterous.

Yeah because we aren't trading dumba. Deal with it..just because your fired gm selected a bad person doesn't mean we are trading dumba for him. Yop,,a playoff team will trade their top 4d for pr nightmare prospect

Because a team looking to make a deep run won't trade a top 4 d-man for anyone, let alone someone that controversial with ZERO NHL GAMES.

While Minnesota probably holds onto Dumba as they're looking to contend, I feel like MTL should hold onto Mailloux hoping he becomes their "own Dumba" that fits their timeline better. He sure has the potential to, and the playstyle is not too different.

Minnesota isn't a smaller market no matter what. In hockey, Minnesota isn't. We aren't trading dumba .

No team wants Logan. Keep him.

Please stop gatekeeping all ideas that include the Wild with your multiple burner accounts.

OP was looking for a constructive discussion, you throwing insults & ironically acting like a social justice warrior is not that.

He's trying to force him in wild. He wasn't looking for constructive idea. When told no, he was like why wouldn't they. It's really weird how Montreal fans get mad when they try to force certain players on other teams fans, then they can't handle being told no. Minnesota isn't trading dumba. Minnesota will not deal with pr nightmare

Then you should look up the definition of a discussion. Nobody forced nobody on nobody, and him stating his arguments is sure not forcing an idea nor it is getting mad.

Sign Klingberg
Trade Hoffman or Armia for Matheson or Pettersson
Sign Jake Campbell
Draft Wright or Cooley

Montreal pushes for the playoffs again. They will never full rebuild

Your getting mad over being told no instead of fairly accepting no that Minnesota isn't trading dumba. Nor that team like wild will take on pr nightmare. He knew what type of discussion this player would start. But Montreal fans, or certain ones defend the other one no matter how bad proposals are

Yeah cause who wants a great young RHD prospect?! I don't hear you crying for the expulsion of Austin Matthews for his crimes of intimidation and indecent exposure. Which by the way would have been the charges filed against him for mooning that lady and trying to break into her car. Did you also know that the indecent exposure charge carries with it a mandatory addition to the sex offenders registry? So while many condemn Mailloux for his obviously gross lack of judgement as a teenager they also forgive and forget that Matthews had an equally obvious lack of judgment as a teenager.

Sorry if it came off as "forcing him on Minnesota" that wasn't the intention. I did state that this was based off another similar thread and that I was just looking for comments on value not all of the other crap. You were the one who started with "nobody wants trash and horrible human being in Logan. Delete this". I get there is controversy and that most have their own opinions on his off ice issues that is why I was looking for strictly value comments.

As for my comment of "why wouldn't they" that was strictly to incite more of an explanation from the comment "why would Minny do this?" from the other user.

I'm not getting mad, I simply wish you'd focus all your awful comments and awful takes in one account so I don't have to ignore-list each of those every time you show up.

Well okay. Points still stand, we aren't trading dumba. Minnesota will be the last team trading for d prospect, but especially a player with that background. Minnesota's media is the worst and literally you have no idea how Minnesota media is like. Under no circumstances will he go unscathed in Minnesota. You should do your research on gophers football scandal and how this very easily turned to black vs. White situation

That's all fair and understandable. As stated previously I was just looking at option for IF Petry was moved and saw a thread with Dumba for Grans and a 3rd lol.
