Devils pass on taking on a bad Armia contract and an injured goalie for an asset worth at least something and in no rush to trade...Why would you think that works?

Just having a rumor that says MTL is interested in Zacha doesn't equate to the garbage you are offering for him.

Still don't see Lehkonen getting that much. Two former first round picks for a 3LW is just stupidly bad asset management in my opinion. Switch Lundkvist to 2nd rounder and I think you're a lot closer.

I think NJ could do a lot better with Zacha. Armia has been straight out bad this year, and Allen is a dime a dozen goalie they can get from free agency next year - not like they need one now since they're not competing.

STL trade probably has fair value but they're so cap strapped I don't think this'll work. Habs would need to take salary in. Problem is that STL doesn't have cap dumps to move.

CAR can't afford that. Gardiner is on LTIR and doesn't affect their cap, and they don't really need another RHD that much, especially at that cost. Imo it's a total overpayment from them.

Weber is never playing again with that knee, so why does he have this much value? He brings value to a team near the cap minimum, not ones at the cap limit.

NSH trade is probably the only interesting one here but I think Pärssinen+3rd is overshooting it. Plus they don't have cap issues. If they were interested in Drouin I could see them doing Myers for Drouin 1-on-1.

Would be a bit weird to replace Scandella with another Scandella though. Especially considering it was MTL who traded the first Scandella to STL in first place.

Horrible for most teams. Dallas, Nashville and New Jersey taking on bad cap. Weber makes no sense for Minni to take him and give up assets too.

That's good value for lehky, but habs only trade him for overpay, a good comparable is the Barclay goodrow trade. Lehkonen is better and younger, so he gets a tad more. NYR are interested, and just like we saw with helleson and Colorado, they have makar and barron, no room for helleson- he's traded. NYR have fox, and schneider and trouba. No room for lundqvist. I think it's fair, and multiple rangers fans have agreed with me. You have to overpay if you want to get him, it's how it is, not his value,

They need a goalie, and cam use armia on the right side. NJD are connected to both, habs interested in zacha, you gotta realize, it makes sense.

We can take back scandella, and instead of the 2nd, make it 1st + 5th

Deangelo possibly injured rest of year. 2nd is for when Gardiner returns next year. So really Drury + heimosalmi for petry.

All wild fans have agreed its a fair trade, and Weber can help them with ltir space. It's complicated, I can't explain it. The idea makes sense.

Drouin is retained 50% so essentially they're only losing 2k. Myers has been terrible, and drouin 10000% fetch that return 50 % retained.

just because they don't have room for lundkvist on the right side doesn't mean they can't use him on the left once the Nemeth experiment ends.. especially ya know.. since he played the left side also in Sweden, plays there on the powerplay, etc. Also, I really love the "he's the odd man out so you won't get full value" or the "he won't be expensive" logic..
