I’d love that as a Habs fan ngl, recouping at least a first in value for Dvorak would be a huge W for us. I doubt Hughes would settle for only a second for him anyway

Copp? Rakell? Both should probably be above the guy on LTIR for Colorado's priorities

Dvorak has term which would be beneficial for the Avs over Rakell, Domi, or Copp.

What's the story with Dvorak's season in Montreal?

How long is he expected to be out for?

Edit: He was just activated off LTIR yesterday... Interesting timing...

What do you think his value is?

Avs don't have any 2nd round picks which might make a trade tricky without using the 2023 1st.

It's definitely gone down, he's been comparable to Monahan this year

CBJ try and say “yes,” but it’s tough to do through all the salivating.

He - like every single player on the Habs - had a rough time with ol’ Dommy as head coach. Got injured back in January - probably from a dirty play from Jared spurgeon. Came back last night for his first game under msl and looked really good. I know it’s only one game but he looked good for the first time under his new coach. Would probably see him as an offseason deal though to give him the rest of the season to boost his value.

Dvo returned Las night, not on LTIR at all. Played 17 minutes won 11 draws and played well. He just doesn't seem to fit with the Habs and IMO he really doesn't fit the EC style of play.

Thanks. Yeah probably in MTL's beat interest to wait to help his value abit. With term they can afford to be patient until they get a solid offer.

Dvorak is a career .48 PPG player, and he’s been a good faceoff man his whole career, on top of putting in his best faceoff% this season. I don’t think it’s ridiculous to think MTL would like to keep him, and make him a 3C in a shut down role. Pitlick/Dvorak/Gallagher could be an interesting 3rd line capable of defensive play and occasional offensive output.

I consider it foolish to trade a 1st, especially in a loaded draft, for a 3rd liner.

    I like Domi.
I’d rather have Lehkonen > Dvorak (would cost less and Lek has RFA status still).
    That’s too much for Clutterbuck
