For Example 2011

RNH = 515 PTS

Baertschi = 138 PTS
Oleksiak = 86 PTS
JT Miller = 430 PTS

Yea, and it assumes you draft in order of best to worst. SO no way taking, Debrusk, and those other 2 are the correct move. I personally would take Aho, Barzal, and Connor or Chabot or whatever mix and not complain 2 much. I mean lets be real Power for Rosen, Coronato and Cossa. Throw in better players available after like Lysell or Wallstedt its not bad.

Noticable picks after in the first rounds in Parenthesis.
Laf - Jarvis, Holloway, Amirov (Reichel, Mercer, Peterka)
Hughes - Knight, York, Caufield (Krebs, Newhook, McMicheal, Tomasino)
Dahlin - Dellandrea, Farebee, Denisenko (Sandin, Samuelsson, K.Miller)
Hischier - Suzuki, Brannstrom, Foote. (Norris, Otter, R.Thomas)
Matthews - Bean, Mcavoy, Kunin. (Chychrun, Debrincat, Kyrou)

Rangers. Kakko really isn’t anything special, Lundqvist is solid, the 2023 first is probably late. Idk what Scheifele’s value is but it doesn’t seem like New York is giving up too much here

I have to agree. Curse me for liking Kakko and Lundkvist, but them alongside a first is a solid start for a Scheifele deal. Plus NYR and Jets have lots of history trading with each other (Hayes, Pionk, Trouba, Copp).

This would kickstart a retool in WPG and get a solid 1B center for NYR
