I would think Winnipeg would not trade Hellebuyck, but if they did, they would probably want Skinner. I don’t know if we do this.. this is a lot of futures for right now. 3M Hellebuyck would be nice right now though… I’m torn haha. I think I wouldn’t want to give Holloway if possible. This proposal made me think.. good job!

Those are all pretty easy no's from Winnipeg across the board. Trading needed players for unneeded ones or low picks.

There is also zero chance Winnipeg retains that much on Scheifele or Hellebuyck.

Dubois isn't bring moved and Montreal doesn't have the assets required to land him if he was moved.

I don't see Cheveldayoff actively trying to fire himself in the offseason. They'll plod along for a couple of more years at which point -- if there are no results -- the rebuild in summer 2024 will be done by another GM.

I appreciate your positivity on this site too! I personally try and make constructive comments, or just nice ones, suggesting teams needs, why we wouldn’t do it, a way around it etc. I’m not a fan of the one liners.. it’s not very descriptive. Like “they take it and run”, “they hang up” that kind of stuff, and you see it a lot! Anyways, if I was the oilers GM, I would definitely have to think about that, and maybe throw in Konovalov, and work around not having to give Skinner and Holloway if possible! I would say we would be a great team with Hellebuyck. Probably a top 10 team honestly. You see some of these teams ahead of us, and some of them are not better defensively, and offensively, but they are superior in net.

No that is 4x 1st a 2nd and a cap dump. Dvorak cost HABS a 1st & a 2nd. He could get traded at the TDL next year for a 1st rd. Justin Barron was a 1st Rd pick.

HABS will not trade a RHD, Remove Justin Barron and the HABS might not hang up.

If the Jets were to trade Scheifele and Dubois they might as well trade Connor, Ehlers, Pionk and Morrissey too cause with neither of PLD and 55 and no top 6 center prospects they're going nowhere so not much point in keeping two valuable assets.

I don't see the Rangers parting with both Miller and Schneider in the same deal.

And if Winnipeg rebuilds, Connor and Ehlers would be going too.
