Dude, how long has you're team been rebuilding. Also I don't think that the front office is not all that bad and they have made some really good moves and I think that the motivation from the passing of Eugene Melnyk gives that office a huge spark and I think that they build up a great team.

Also did you forget the Habs were in the Atlantic and hey maybe their is a corrolation that once they got healthy they started playing really well while still missing a franchise defesemen.

Sabres were trying to win from 2015-2020. Obviously it didn’t work out because they had horrible GM’s and coaches. Adams has done a good job with the coaches staff, creating one of the best analytic staffs, have the best prospect system in the league. I just don’t see Ottawa making the playoffs next season the Atlantic is the best division in hockey.

Yeah, but neither Buffalo unless Washington or Pitsburgh falls of a cliff but that spot will probably be replaced by the Islanders. I think both teams have a really good future and I really like what Kevin Adams has done in Buffalo.

Anton Forsberg is worth a lot more than a 3rd to us.
Connor Brown is worth a LOT more than O'Connor and a 4th.
Lars Eller trade is not terrible but I don't think it makes much sense for Ottawa.
I'd gladly take Norris/Stutzle/Pinto/Kastelic over Trocheck (not a 1C) and Eller (aging 3C).
