I like the idea of change, but making 4 poor value bad trades isn't the way to accomplish it.

Tufte - drafted the same year as Stanley is an unneeded LW and has only played 10 games in the NHL. Defenceman are far more valuable than left wingers, so why downgrade talent and give Stanley away for nothing.

Schmidt - has played well. There's no reason to give him away for nothing.

Vesalainen - there's no reason to give him away for nothing. See how he does with new coaching and systems.

Bellows - another unneeded LW and one that can't score. Plus the Jets are giving up one of their better defensemen to get him.

If the Jets are making moves, they should be to help the team. Not to give away players for junk that doesn't help the team.

The STL pick was from the Copp trade.

Schmidt has actually quietly been amazing on the PK. As of a few weeks ago I think he was even a + on the PK. Any team that can fit him in the cap and roster will pay the 3rd so you should get more.

This team isnt much improved over the current Jets so it would likely miss the playoffs too.

They really need to hope some dumb GM makes a Buchnevich type trade this summer and they can get in on it cause they're likely not landing a top 6 winger in free agency and they desperately need at least one if they want to be better next season, thats assuming Perfetti can hold down a top 6 wing role.

Schmidt has been very solid. Jets fans rag on him for some lapses defensively. Meanwhile he’s been one of the more consistent and better guys on the blue line.

The Stanley, Vesalainen, and Dillon trades make no sense.
Stanley is needed more than Tufte
Vesalainen should be traded for a struggling RW like Nolan Patrick or Owen Tippett
No where near enough for Dillon
WTF do we want Perron for
