This team isn’t doing jack poo in the playoffs lmaooo. I’m tired of hearing how “aggressive” and “energized” we play. None of that means crap if you can’t put the puck in the effing net

I don't think so. It'd almost require that WSH's collective shooting percentage is near 20%, because FLA will be the one holding the puck for a clear majority of the games and in particular the offensive zone.

WSH is about to face 35-45 shots a night and they can let past a max of 3 goals per game, probably not even that.

I think FLA will take a clean sweep. The material difference is just too great.


In general Washington's big advantage experience

Almost everyone has been in the playoffs and most were part of that core who won the cup.

Main issue goaltending experience. Samsonov and Vanacek are inconsistent. But who knows

It's also a disadvantage, because that team is very slow compared to a very fast Florida.

Depending on the matchup I find playoff hockey though is less speed more grit kind of gameplay. But then some series its all open ice goalie nightmares

I kinda feel like FLA has more grit too, what with Lomberg, Gudas, Chiarot and Marchment.

Granted WSH's got Wilson but I wouldn't be too surprised if he gets goaded for something stupid leading to suspension.

They're expecting NYR to pass CAR so they'll drop behind BOS on purpose to face NYR in the first round.

Better NYR than CAR or TOR after all.

He's not injured. He gave up 2 goals in 45 seconds and Coop had enough.

Maybe things will change in the playoffs, but right now, they just look lost. I can honestly say that I was FAR more confident last year than this year, they've been god-awful since the Canadian trip at the beginning of March.

Am I counting them out yet? No. But my confidence is shrinking with every game.

Also first time he's been called off since 2018. For Peter Budaj.
