i think you misread the article. its says 77 million but it includes the 2 butout and lucic retention money. so you have about an extra 5cmillion to work with. (i think you should read the acticle again)

Cap friendly already accounts for the buyout and retained dead money on the books, so theoretically for any Edmonton AGM you can spend up to about 81.6 for the purposes of this website

Your lack of understanding is hilarious. You realize that buyouts, retained sal and other 'dead cap is already factored into CapFriendly teams, right? So you've essentially counted all that stuff twice.

I don't know why you would trade a 1st to dump Kassian. Why not retain a million on him and ship him to a team that gets the crap beat our of them this playoffs? Worst case scenario his buyout isn't that bad.

I think Tyson Barrie has a home for him in Pittsburgh if they don't re-sign Letang. Just an idea though 👍
