Ducks have to pay for 4.25 mil of a contract that isn’t their own, and get a player who has had very little success and doesn’t even fit in the Ducks roster and an AHL defenseman?

Call me bias but no thanks lmao.

    Hawks decline.
Muzzin would cost a 1st to dump on a rebuilding team.
Kerfoot has little value to a rebuilding team.
    Kane > those meh prospects

Detroit declines. Maybe straight up but even then it just a lateral move for us. We are under no impetus to trade Bertuzzi so If you guys want him you have to pay. End of story. I'd do your 2022 1st+ Knies and Ovechnikov.

Don't see Yzerman doing Bertuzzi and Nylander 1 for 1 let alone Detroit adding. Bertuzzi with an extension is worth every bit of William Nylander.

25% of Kane contract is 2.625 million and Engvall is better than most of ANAs bottom 6 this year

Last time i check 25% of 10,500,000 is not 2.625. And free agency is coming up, Ducks can sign many better players over Engvall.

    A) 10,500,000 X 0.25 is 2.625 million (learn how to read)
    B) no **** you can sign players better than Engvall in FA, but your not really gonna get better value than him at around 2 million bucks a season

Stop talking to a brick wall.
I think Engvall is worth every bit of retaining $2,625,000 for one year.
IMO he is ready to have a breakout year as big players take longer to develop.
It will not be as huge as Thompson (he is not as big as Tage) but I could see him exceeding 20 goals in 2022-'23.
Duszak may never play an NHL game but I would love to see him in an Amerk uniform.
    Send them both to Buffalo.
