Also after watching the Oilers game (I was away) just now - I’m convinced McDavid can somehow get even better.

It is disgusting the performance he’s giving us this year. Just making the game look frankly slow and mundane when he isn’t on.

Yeah, in the regular season, they were giving up alot of goals countless times, and came back and won it in OT. You can't do that in the playoffs.
Teams lock it down, the players are more gutsy, more willing to defend the lead
Playoff hockey is much different than regular season hockey , and the Florida panthers are a magnificent example for this year

Edmonton need to capitalize on this awesome start or Calgary is gonna steal it late.

On the Florida front. Coach Q may be a terrible human but he knew how to get his team ready for war and what get you through the post season. Brunette had a marvellous regular season but has failed to adjust.
