These are simply a few trades I’d find interesting but I certainly am not expecting them. There are rumours Stevie may move Bertuzzi. The prospect swaps with Toronto and Montreal are probably even less likely.

seth griffith is still playing? huh. Nah, the leafs are good. Neither of the prospects are probably anything but id keep the 22 year old giant over the 29 year old they already tried once

I know MTL need RHD badly but we need LW as well so I say they accept

JP I don't think is as good as alot of people think and there is a reason he's only playing 10 minutes a night right now. Also only being a 0.55ppg player while playing on lines with Mcdavid and Draisatl is very underwhelming. Thinking of adding a LD prospect wouldn't move the bar at all for Detroit as we are loaded with potential on the left side right now. Not sure there is a deal to be made there to be honest.

Every single Red Wings ACGM seems to have the wings trading for LHD. I thought you had more RHD?

His actual value is irrelevant, because both Bertuzzi and Yzerman have indicated there is no desire to move, so a team would need to overpay to make a deal. If I'm being honest, I don't think a team *should* pay, what he would cost to acquire and I don't see him being moved for that exact reason. Bertuzzi just had a kid and he and his fiancé have expressed their desire to stay and Yzerman wants to extend him, so why move him for anything less than a ransom?

We need a veteran LHD as a stop gap until our youth is ready to go. We have Edvinsson, Wallinder, Viro, McIsaac, Johansson, Buium, Sebrango plus Juolevi and Walman now.

Detroit trade is no where close. Giving us a player you cant sign and a 2nd is garbage. Plus Holland trades are always overpays. So if Ken Holland is making the trade he probably gives up 2 1sts a prospect and a current player... Just think back to the Duncan Keith "Chicago Cap Dump" where Holland bought him...

aside from Holland being an idiot, fair value for Bertuzzi... right now i would take all of the Nylander/Mrazek/ 3rd for Bertuzzi. Your not even close to that value.

That value for Bertuzzi is absolutely atrocious.
