Description

Although many teams won't be in the sweepstakes for Miller if he does get traded, I thought it'd be fun to see what each team could offer for him, or what the Canucks would want in return. In every trade, both sides may need to add value, but these are just the basics of what a possible trade may start with, some values may vary depending on interest etc. also I'm not a GM or scout so I don't know how players are valued around the league, I'm just trying to have some fun; trades would likely include Miller signing long-term **Hypothetical trade happens before or at the NHL draft**

Out of playoff teams aren't offered a first round pick for one year of Miller. And some of the other deals aren't really cap "compliant" for the non Vancouvers teams. Lots of "no thanks"

About the max I’d offer for Miller from Columbus is Foudy, Cuelamens and 12. If you wanted a roster defenseman I’d offer up Bean, but I wouldn’t be moving a RHD that is the weakest position in the organization, especially after we were so bad defensively last season.

That's only if he extend, which most team would want if they traded for him i think.

Vancouver would only get the best return if he was to extend with his new team. Otherwise, he's just a rental.

I know they probably miss the playoffs next year, but he would be a good winger for Suzuki and Caufield, or we could draft Slafkovski and have Miller play 2C.

alot of his points come on the powerplay where he wouldnt play PP1 in toronto, also knies has been named pretty much untouchable by toronto, hes that good

That's a pretty fair offer IMO but the timing just isn't right, so I agree even with an extension don't think it's right. Also 100% the FOMO from trading Samuelsson would keep me up at night

id rather keep liljegren and knies because they have more value to the leafs than miller would. not saying those two are better but the leafs have barley any good D prospects and liljegren is ready to be in the top 4 knies is going to be a top 6 player for the leafs, and that first can be used to get something they actually need (another goalie) the leafs dont need to add to their top 6 anymore. its bottom 6 players they need. guys like nick paul. not another top line player. Miller is great but when it comes to trading him to the leafs it makes no sense

A lot of these are biased towards the other team, and better safe than sorry, but there are some trades that I think are quite reasonable. Well done and good on you for going through every team, this takes a lot of time
