Tired of this ideology; Miller is not a Columbus local. He played AAA in Pittsburgh because he lived much closer to Pitt than Columbus, then eventually moved to SW pittsburgh and Ann Arbor for juniors
Jackets don't really need him that bad right now either, rather go the year without him and see if he becomes a free agent than spend so much on him

Only Columbus relevance is that his brother played at OSU

ZERO % chance the Rangers trade for Miller and the trade you propose is ludicrous. Miller will never play for the Rangers again and Schneider will be with the Rangers a long time. Keep dreaming.

You can’t say there’s 0% chance of Miller going to New York because the Rangers were literally the most interested team in Miller during the deadline. Just because you don’t want to lose your precious prospects doesn’t mean that there is 0 chance Miller goes to New York

I just did say it and 100% true. Bet you any amount of money that Miller NEVER plays for the Rangers again.

I’m not saying he will play for the Rangers but it’s not like it’s completely out of the question. An example of a 0% chance would be Wayne Gretzky playing for Vancouver in the year 2100.

You're a fan of semantics I see. There is no reasonable and plausible way Miller is traded to the Rangers. The Canucks want max value for him, and since the Rangers will not be able to sign him long term, they will not pay what the Canucks want for him. So how does he get traded to the Rangers? Does the Canucks GM just decide to take LESS in trade for him to send him to NYC? Does Drury decide he wants to overpay for a 1 year rental of Miller? The answer to both is NO. Therefore, there is ZERO % chance Miller is traded to the Rangers. You can live in fantasyland all you want or play semantics and spew that anything is possible, but its all nonsense. Any amount of money Miller never plays for the Rangers again. ANY.

Rangers 100% declines, No way are they giving up that much for a one year rental, And they can't afford Miller long term. They will sign Andrew Copp they don't need Miller.

There isn’t 0% chance but this years offer will be less than last year and unless it’s the only offer on the table we aren’t getting him. Let’s not forget last years offer was 1/2 of the above offer. Neither of the names were involved and won’t be involved this year again. So it’s not 0% but it’s damn close. You should be able to get more from a team that can actually extend him while he is only a rental for NYR

Hilarious overpays across the board. Canucks fans still struggling to come to terms with the fact Miller now isn't worth the same as Miller at the deadline. Nylander alone would be worth Miller if not more due to the 2nd year of term compared to renting.

Tired of all these Canucks fans thinking 1 year of Miller is going to land them four A-pieces. Have yet to see a realistic return on Miller here.

Leafs aren’t trading a second pair RD and a player equally as good as Miller for miller. It makes no sense.
