The Dallas trade is interesting (from Toronto's PoV). I don't think Dallas would make it for a number of different reason (Teams aren't in the market of giving away the next Carey Price)

I like Oettinger but he hasn't proven himself yet imho ik he had a a good playoffs but i wouldn't be calling him the next Carrey Price

I'm talking strictly potential after almost stealing the series for Dallas in the first round. You're right he needs to follow it up for a strong regular season next year and continue his strong playoffs this year with another strong run to seal that comparison, but he was a high draft pick (1st 26th OV), so laying that type of comparison isn't as far fetched as people might think.

I think those 2nds on either side and / or Abramov could comfortably be removed but getting Robertson for Zacha (whom doesn't fill any need for NJD going forward) is nothing but a steal imo.

Robertson can’t even break the Leafs lineup, and Abramov didn’t take the step I expected he would. Trending more towards tweener-middle sixers for that package is a huge overpay for a team that doesn’t need those kinds of players
