Kuraly isn’t moving. He was a very important part of our core last season. We also don’t need wingers so this trade doesn’t do anything for us

Fair. Don’t get too much jackets news/games here. Thought a poolparty/laine reunion would be nice

Korpisalo is one of the worst goalies in the league, just hold onto Pulju. Trading him makes no sense

You can’t be serious? You aren’t going to take a young top 6 winger because you like your old bottom 6 piece? Oilers laugh if this is columbus’ offer. They should be paying us to play Korpi

Korpisalo is 89th on the list of the best goalies in the NHL last year and 96th in the last 2 years.
You want him on the Oilers lol

Puljujarvi would be somewhere around 8th or 9th on Columbus's wing depth chart. Why would they trade a more useful player to them for him?

First of all, kuraly has a NMC so he’ll put an end to the trades before they start. Secondly he is a center and plays a very solid 2 way game in a position of weakness ontop of being a home grown kid from Columbus. Jessie is a 24 year old right winger. We have laine, voracek, bjorkstrand, nyquist, texier Johnson marchenko and chinaknov who need playing time on the wing next season. We don’t have the space for pool. If you want to hold onto Jesse that’s fine, but he makes zero sense for jackets. (Double for foegele).

Also on korpi, he’s making 650k, send him to the ahl if your that opposed to him. He’s not a negative asset, worthless, yeah but not negative.

Besides bjork and Laine, who play both wings, he would be your best winger. Idk why Columbus would ever not do this

Among the wealth of idiotic Gibson trade offers we've seen today, you're in a whole new territory . . . the rational, reasonable-value area. Thanks.

Actually, I didn't say that strongly enough. A heartfelt thanks.

You’re forgetting Nyquist and voracek. Not to mention kent Johnson and chinakov need ice time too. You can make an argument for texier and roslovic as well (both are much better offensively)

Not even close. The guy played a full season next to McDavid and Draisaitl and only put up a 45 point pace. Do you really expect him to be better without those guys? I'd rather play Laine, Bjorkstrand, Voracek, Nyquist, Texier, Johnson and Marchenko ahead of him in the top 9 without a doubt and I'd consider playing Chinakhov above him. Kuraly simply provides way more value to a team as deep at wing as the CBJ are.

Jackets decline easily.

If Nyquist gets traded I would maybe offer a third and Foudy for pool party

As always, if he's that good then the Oilers should just keep him. The CBJ are absolutely fine with their wingers.

It would be interesting for sure, but we've got too many wingers as is. I don't think Puljujarvi gets deserved credit in either direction, but we've already got analytics darling wingers.

problem is the jackets are crowded at wing and need centers more than anything. If they could get a 1C for Laine and play Pulju on the wing or his positioning would create so much offense, and have 2 of Bjorkstrand/Nyquist/Pulju with an existing team C and keep voracek on the 1st line for an excellent 2nd line. They just don't have the center for that 1st line though. But I'll admit I only know about Pulju's play cause I follow you😭

McDavid played better when he was on the ice with Pulju
