He'd waive for his hometown Detroit before Buffalo that's for sure. I agree he's not waiving for 2 more years at the very least.

This doesn't feel like a BUF fan ACGM. Aside from the MIN trade, those are bad deals for BUF.

to be fair, i've heard that a big part of his NMC is his partner doing her residency in NYC, so if that's actually the case I could see him waiving for the Devils or Islanders too (not that either team would be looking to acquire him at in-division prices but you get what i'm saying!)
