If you are going to trade Sandin, get a legit NHL ready forward or goalie prospect instead of a backup and 2 2nds. Toronto doesn't need the futures, they need roster impactful players. Driedger is at all time low value right now, and Kerfoot alone is worth a 2nd, adding Kase increases the value

I still don’t understand why Toronto threads always send holl or kerfoot to the wild. The wild will never want either.

Why on earth would they not do it? That's a great deal for them.

No it isn’t. Take out a 2nd and engvall and chance the other 2nd to like a 5th

no it isn't. its a great deal for Toronto.
Engval isn't worth a 2nd, Sandin is redundant on our team, we have Ferraro who is similar.
I made a mistake and thought it was Kerfoot and Sandin and didn't like it, Engval and Sandin for Hill and 2 2nds is highway robbery.

You realize Driedger is likely out until sometime the new year, right? Regardless, Seattle will pass on a deal for Kerfoot and Kase, especially for picks in this years draft. But I'm sure you don't care, so if you wanna know why, hit me back!! LOL

LOL not a chance. Hill has very little value, whereas Sandin has a lot of value. The difference between them is probably a first round pick, not a 5th.

It's an awful deal for Toronto. Hill for Engvall is probably fair value, and Sandin for 2 2nds is not good for Toronto at all. He's worth way more.

-Minnesota is a terrible landing spot for Holl. They're stacked with defensemen and don't need another 3rd pair guy making $2M with the cap crunch they're in. And he's worth a single 4th rounder, max.

-San Jose says yes so fast you don't even know what happened. Sandin is a huge overpay for Hill.

-Driedger tore his ACL and is out 7-9 months. He still might be better in goal with Mrazek even with that injury, but I feel like there are better options out there.

Ok, I’d be happy to. You can keep Hill and run 3 goalies.

someone will pay a fair amount for one of them I'm not worried, but giving up 2nds during a rebuild is counterproductive.

It's not when you get a young stud like Sandin, who's young enough to contribute when your top prospects are in their prime, and is definitely worth more than 2 2nds.

But we already have a similar player in age and skill and size who is also a LD in Ferraro who we love, and with Merkley 5'10 (in skates maybe lol) Ferraro 5'11" and Karlsson 5'11" we need to focus on getting D with some size to offset those guys.

Ya, that's fair, I'm not saying the sharks should be targeting Sandin, he would be fine but he wouldn't be a need for them, it's more that the leafs don't want to give him up unless they are getting a big upgrade in goal.

full disclosure had we not had Feraro, I would be driving to Toronto to pick him up and help him pack!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Ferraro more of a 2 way guy? Because Sandin is an offence first guy. I don’t see them a similar players.

Ferraro is more 2 way but has offensive skill, but with playing with Burns or Karlsson he has focused way more on the defensive side, if he had a defensive mate he would be way more offensive.

Why do people keep giving Lyubushkin a low ball amount and he is your top pairing guy?
