I'm sorry did I read that wrong? Are you suggesting that Winnipeg would have to move the 14th overall pick for...JEFF PETRY??? flushed cheeks

Its the price Philly paid for Risto, Petry is better then Risto pretty simple

don’t really think that has a huge bearing? everyone knows that trade was **** except chuck fletcher. petry’s old and has three more years left, i’d be stunned if you got a pick that high w/o retaining 50%

Zero interest in a 34 year old and declining Petry at 6.25M for 3 more years.

It was a terrible trade then and still is, I can’t believe they actually resigned him on top of that. Doesn’t mean Winnipeg should make the same mistake with Petry. Montreal fans should temper their trade values a touch.

The Vegas and Montreal trades are extremely bad for the Jets.

Oh boy...if you're expecting anything around the 14th overall pick you're going to be sorely disappointed.

He's gonna get a first, depending on where that first is depends on what else.

Sure, but he’s old and has a big contract. No one is giving up a mid 1st for him

I think he is worth #18-25 range. Just depends on a team getting desperate and overpaying.

He's a $1M dollars cheaper. He signed 5yr extension and Petry will be retired before that contract is up.

And? The team trading for Petry is most likely trying to win now, not five years from now
