Description
This team made me drink today, The Debrincat return was unacceptable and on top of that they reached on Korchinski. Personally I don't see Korchinski as a top defencemen and just adds to the defense prospect depth. I really wanted Savoie, I was super excited to see him drop, and I think he would've been a great pick. Trading Dach was a suprise, but I'm a huge fan of Nazar, so I think it was a good trade. Mrazek trade was good until Chicago reached again, Mesar or Lambert would've been the best option. The Dark Days has arrived.

Canucks decline easily. The Canucks want value back for Myers. Höglander is valuable, and so is the second round pick. Terrible trade.

I just hate the Jones trade even more, If they didn't make that trade they could be building around Debrincat, Jiricek, Nazar, and etc

Drury says not a chance, but have a nice day. NO INTEREST in a Kane rental. And good luck with the ridicules offer sheet.

The Jones trade set the hawks back 2 years. Davidson would be calling this a 3 year rebuild if he had Boqvist, Sillinger, and 6OA to work with instead of what he had to do tonight. Essentially, the hawks traded DeBrincat, Boqvist, Jiricek and Sillinger for Jones, Nolan Allan, and Korchinski. I only hope they acquire more 2023 1st rounders and just go for best player available next year.

That’s cap circumvention and the league would block. EJ blocks that trade, CHI is full out in meltdown no way he accepts. COL blocks because EJ is still serviceable and his contract expires after the coming season. Strike three you’re out.

According to your fellow Leaf fan, this costed essentially (2) 2nd round picks to move Mrazek, more then anything you guys were proposing on here for the last month. @GenXHockey

I had a post with this exact trade but was told “Chicago declines” I guess not. And I thought it was the second overall pick and holtz for debrincat? Instead you got Kevin kolchinski….lol

This was absolutely a brutal dark day for Hawks fans. Korchinski is a reach and projected to be a 2nd liner...we have too many of those already. To pass on Savoie is criminal especially when we just traded our future top 6 centerman. Nasar is fine at #13, but Korchinski easily could've been available then, not to mention Kemmell and Lekkermaki at #13. Imaging grabbing Savoie and Nasar or Kemmell or Lekkermaki (we have zero RW prospects)...would have been much better then Korchinski. Then Rinzel??? WTF the guy was projected as a mid 2nd round pick at best. We'll be lucky if he ever turns into an NHL player.

So basically we gave up Debrincat, Dach and took on a big cap dump for Korchinski, Nasar and Rinzel so far....that is just ugly. Dach for Nasar I'm okay with, but to think what we gave up with Debrincat is disgusting. Imagine what Cat could have pulled at the TDL!

Kane or his agent I'm sure have already called Davidson and asked to be moved, as well as Toews. This team is going to be a dumpster fire to watch for the next few years. Maybe in 2 years Rockford will be at least good.

Can't help our GM screwed up. Every writer and analysts is flaming the new GM for that trade, we weren't far off on what they should have got.

Oh well, in the end that's the price of 3 cups in 6 six years, and the bill is finally coming due. Maybe you guys will know what that feels like after a 52 year drought and 6 first postseason series exits in a row LOL

Savoie was my favorite prospect, fun as hell to watch. Amazing skater and shooter, along with good playmaking ability. I was pissed they didn't take him, he's going to be a stud. Korchinski probably would've been available at 13 (still would've took Nazar) , but makes zero sense unless he become a top pairng D. We already have Vlasic, Kaiser, Beaudin, and etc. Well hopefully Chicago gets Owen Beck or Jack Hughes with their 2nd tommorow

I think Kyle thought this draft was the 2023 draft. Outrageous to give up so much young talent.

And, that shows exactly why they shouldnt be paying so much to be going early in a covid development draft year with little star power

Don't forget Nolan Allan who we took last year in the 1st round too! Plus I'm higher on Stillman then most. Just an moronic move after getting roasted on the Cat trade to begin with. Savoie would at least give me a little hope they know what they are doing.
