Kings don't have the space, nor would Muzzin waive to anyone other than Florida / Carolina / Colorado.

That offer for Chychrun can be beat by most teams with likely higher 1st rounders.

"Matt Murray Contract really hurts the cap space, but this might work?" No. What is about so many Leaf fans think Muzzin can be wished away?

It's less than 24 hours to the trade deadline, let everyone get it out of their system, the Muzzin trades will come back at the trade deadline.

No the TDL ends in February. After the UFAs are signed, these Leafs fans will still have Muzzin trades....to teams with even less cap than they have know.

As I have described Muzzin to trades to LA, or Kerfoot trades to Seattle.......It's like "crack" to an addict......just gotta have it.

The zombie Muzzin-to-Los-Angeles-in-spite-of-the-cap trades never stop . . .

Fortunately, the Kevin Fiala acquisition and Adrian Kempe signing have now made all Jake-Muzzin-to-Los-Angeles trades impossible. Pretty soon they should die out, as even Toronto fans will eventually get the numerical message.

Current roster:
13 forwards = $45.4 million
4 defenders = $17.7 million (Doughty, Roy, Walker, Bjornfot)
2 goalies = $10.8 million
dead cap = $2 million
Subtotal = $75.9 million
Vilardi = $1 million or less
Anderson = $2.5 million or more
Durzi = $1.5 million
Total = $80.9 million or more
Amount remaining for one LD (i.e., remaining cap space) = less than $1.6 million

So we couldn't fit Muzzin in even at 50% retention unless you took Alex Iafallo back, which would mean adding your 2023 first-round draft pick to the offer and our dropping the third.

Chicago fans said they tried Strome on the wing and he was brutal. Afraid to go in the corners, hence the 11 hits last season. He makes Nylander look like the HULK in the physical play department.

Columbus declines. Jenner's value to this team exceeds pretty much any tradeanother team would be able to stomach.

Honestly, I'm surprised they didn't put in 50% retention here. That's about as realistic as this deal already is.

JFresh just tweeted a trolly Jenner for Provorov trade. The responses are the usual mix for ever Jenner trade ever, including this one.

I can't tell if he's serious or not on that one since it's a pretty balanced trade personnel wise, but a totally impractical trade when considering Jenner's status with the CBJ. It seems like he should know better, but I may be giving him too much credit that he's any better than the majority of people who don't pay attention to Columbus beyond the surface-level.

Oh, he was trolling Flyers fans, who are already on the edge of nervous breakdowns. I've been a secondary Flyers fan since before the Metro, but luckily the Jackets are my primary team. I agree it's probably a totally fair swap if not for Jenner's status.

Pro tip: when the response to a certain player (Kerfoot) being sent to a certain team (CBJ) is consistently and loudly "no, never, cut it out and go away" for three full years running, you don't make it better by offering that player for someone that that same team has previously been similarly strident about absolutely refusing to give up under any circumstances (Jenner). That's actually making it worse, not better.
