Trades
1.
MTL
  1. Dellandrea, Ty
  2. 2023 1st round pick (DAL)
  3. 2024 6th round pick (DAL)
Additional Details:
A 1st and a good prospect is good value for Petry who is coming off his worst year. He was much better in the ending few months under St. Louis as coach and would be a good fit under Peter Deboer.
DAL
  1. Petry, Jeff ($1,500,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Assuming Klingberg signs else where they will need a replacement top 4 dman. Petry is a good fit for a wildcard team such as Dallas.
2.
MTL
  1. Merkulov, Georgi
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (BOS)
  3. 2025 2nd round pick (BOS)
Additional Details:
A second down the road, a late pick and a mediocre prospect is about Dvo's value. If they had a different second rounder i would probably swap that with the 2025 one tho.
BOS
  1. Dvorak, Christian
  2. 2023 5th round pick (CGY)
Additional Details:
Boston needs center depth, badly. They recently traded for Zacha, who fills that need slightly. However if they want to seriously contend with their aging core they will need to improve down the middle. Dvo is a good middle 6 two-way player who wins the important draws.
3.
MTL
  1. Wilde, Bode
  2. 2023 2nd round pick (NYI)
  3. 2023 3rd round pick (NYI)
  4. 2024 1st round pick (NYI)
Additional Details:
Anderson is a effective power forward with consistency issues. He is a very streaky player who is very capable of getting 25+ goals in a season. Under the right coach and with good line mates I could see this happening.
NYI
  1. Anderson, Josh
Additional Details:
The NYI are not looking to rollover and die after last year and need to buff their already good top6. Anderson and Barzal would go crazy. (This looks like an overpay but seeing how Lou does things this would probably be his offer lmao)
4.
MTL
  1. 2023 1st round pick (EDM)
  2. 2023 2nd round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
Hab's will very likely be in full rebuild mode by the deadline and will be looking for a maximum return for players. If Drouin is healthy and playing top6 minutes he could easily be near 30-50 points. Retain some money on his 1 year deal and a first and second make perfect sense.
EDM
  1. Drouin, Jonathan ($2,225,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Ken Holland has absolutely turned things around this offseason and has finally turned his brain on. He is making stellar signings and is building an actual contending team around McDavid. I think a trade like this is more possible at the deadline when teams are looking to add a final piece to their team. If Drouin does stay healthy until then he could be a perfect fit on Edmonton's top6 or middle 6.

Pass on all deals. Especially Drouin’s. Dvorak is the closest one

Barzal would request a trade if he had to play with anderson, you’ll have to pay to dump Anderson on the Isles

Value is awful for Dallas & they don’t have the cap space to trade for Petry.

Edmonton declines, too much to give up for Drouin especially with the uncertainty surrounding him.

Dvorak won’t help the bruins at center at all. Zacha isn’t even playing center for them. Top 3 centers are Bergeron Krejci Coyle. After this year it’s likely a full on rebuild.
