Anderson got a NTC so him going to jets probably doesn’t happen

Not a Jets fan, I'm a Have fan and it makes zero sense for them to give up any assets for him when it's been clear he will sign in UFA

The trade wont be fair, if, it even happens. Unless, a Jets fan acknowledges that fact, it's a pointless endeavour. You'll, both, be speaking different languages

No thanks from a Jets fan. Not that the value isn’t there as there are lots of darts here, but Jets need a 2C or T4RD which this trade offers neither.

Zero chance the Jets take cap dumps like Anderson back, I'd imagine. Chevy probably asks for Dach, Barron and a 1st.

Winnipeg has no reason or motivation to accept a low/no value return.

I agree with you and the fact that Anderson and Dubois are really good friends and would love to play together makes him waiving in a PLD trade even less likely.

Except they are looking at having to pay a guy 8-9 million from arbitration who does not want to be there. I don't know about you but if I have to pay a guy 8-9 mil to work for me he had better be willing to stay long term otherwise it's just like throwing money out the window. Also the higher his cap hit the less likely a TDL move will work, since teams can only retain half and don't typically have 4.5 mil in cap space at the deadline.

Don't entice him, he's never going to see the error in his ways.

I remember the Laine trade. He was expecting CBJ to pay Dubois plus plus for Laine when it was PLD that returned more. Ignore the guy, it's pointless.

Unlikely he gets 9 mil in arbitration and the Jets have 2 years to figure out a deal. Plenty of time. The most likely scenario is that he is moved next summer if he's still not willing to sign long term.

Man, is he gonna be sour when he doesn't get any of the pieces he thinks he's deserved.

Didnt stop him before, he couldnt have been more wrong on the Laine front. Ppl that dont show empathy rarely change.
