that muzzin trade is scary bad for LA, Dallas one is somehow worse

Oh it's been a few days since a Muzzin to LA trade, that was nice while it lasted.

Kings got Durzi and Bjornfot out of Muzzin, no takebacks.

Muzzin has a NTC, he was arguably less effective than Edler (signed to the league minimum), Muzzin also has serious concussion/injury history, and has no familiarity with any of the defensemen except Doughty, who he never played well with.

LA can't -- and don't want to -- take Muzzin's full cap hit. It has to be an even cap swap to work for LA. Half retained and this becomes a possibility

Half retained without the draft picks going back. Even at 50% retention, Muzzin does not have more value than Sean Walker.

I don't think there's a fanbase I feel worse for than the sane, rational Leafs fans because stuff like this gives them a bad name.

You're right. I was looking at it quick and thought the picks were originally going to LA.
