They absolutely aren’t trading Barzal for 30 year old Miller to make room for 32 year old Kadri

Van doesn't have the cap space to do this, plus they don't need another 5 mil goalie.

Also Barzal is worth more than Miller…. But yeah u r right they can’t afford it

The retention on Miller's hit wouldn't happen either in that scenario either. They cant take on 15m in cap and just move out 2.65m. It also does nothing for the Islanders in terms of being able to resign him.

laugh laugh So Barzal and Varlamov make $12 million combined and the Canucks are eating 50% on Miller. Don't think so Varlamov has a 16 team no trade list and i'm pretty sure all Canadian teams are on it. Plus this is atrocious for the Islanders.

Kinda crazy that you would trade 24 year old Barzal to make room for 32 year old Kadri and then trade for soon to be 30 year old Miller

lol, what does a leaf fan have to do with this? There is no Leaf connection in this trade ...

Maple Leaf great JT Miller ? Maybe there's a secret deal for all Vancouver players to get auto traded to Toronto? Man ...
