Islanders are not giving up a 1st to turn 25 year old Anthony Beauvillier and his 2x$4.15M into 28 year old Josh Anderson and his 5x$5.5M left. Pass.

now that Dvorak deal is one that’s hard to say no to… but we might still say no because we’re fairly set at C, but that’s one deal I would seriously consider.

A. Why would you guys trade Allen for an inferior goalie when it looks like Price is going to miss the whole year? B. Why would the Stars trade for Allen when they already have Otter and Wedgewood (and Dobby before this trade)?

Definitely a fair trade for Dadonov but we just don't need another middle 6 winger right now. Just the wrong team, right price.
