No interest in two years of Hoffman when NSH will need to get creative with the cap next season

Calgary doesn't need Dvorak, if this were two years ago this would be a no brainer but not now

They can byout him, because the cap will go to MTL.

Personally, It can be Drouin (50%) or Hoffman

Yeah, these trades are absurd and the explanation about Dvorak is even more of a stretch.

You guys keep trying to justify Dvorak like he's the second coming. He's still young, so why not keep him for the rebuild?

I will try a line like that:

Huberdeau - Kadri - Lindolhm
Magianapane - Dvorack - Coleman
Lucic - Backlund - Toffoli
Rooney - Ruzicka - Pelletier

I think Dvorack can be the next Backlund's style player for the Flames.

They just have too many centers right now (Suzuki, Dach, Dvorack, Monahan and Evans).

I think the Habs will try a big shot for drafting Bedard or Fantilli, and they will likely also try Dach for the 3C spot.

Also, don't forget Monahan can bounce back and the Habs can easily have a shot for Dubois at the 2024 free agency.

And about Dadonov, he haved an underated season with Vegas, and he can easily help Minnesota for a playoffs spot & a good playoffs run as a 3rd line winger.

That return even with the retention is way too much. MIN also doesn't really need wingers.

In a vacuum they aren’t bad, but it’s still a flat cap and as of now it costs to move players. There are 12 or so teams (maybe more) that need to move some sort of cap hit t become compliant, with about 4-6 teams with the necessary space to take it.

Wild line-up with Dadonov:

Kaprizov - Eriksson Ek - Foligno
Boldy - Hartman - Zuccarello
Greenway - Gaudreau - Dadonov
Duhaime - Jost - Rossi

What d0 you think about that ?

And also, Kent Hughes is a master to overprice his players.

All the trades can eassily fit in their cap space, and I also chek about their 2023-24 cap space.

Yeah, hes puts up low end 2nd line stats for like 2 of his 6 seasons, sucks defensively, makes too much money and is in 'prime' age so he's very unlikely to get any better than what he is now.
He's not worth very much at all.

Habs fans just milking that dead cat bounce in the back half of the season for all they can eh?

Please stay away from my beloved Wild.

You massacred our lines and have no knowledge or feelings of any team but the Habs.

We don't want him, we don't need him, and we just signed Sam Steel and already have a full roster.

Send him anywhere else but Minnesota. Ok?

Lol your comments here show you don't have any ideas about wild..Marcus foligno isn't on roster? Joel Eriksson ek isn't on 1st line, nor will he..Rossi isn't playing on 4th line. Zuccarello isn't getting separated from kaprizov..so so many things wrong

Armia is a cap dump. Teams don't pay you anything for him, you add assets to him to get rid of him and get nothing in return.

Dvorak is not worth that much. It’s been speculated he would barely be worth a third round pick. He has never scored 20 goals, and never scored 40 points. At his 4.5 million cap hit, a contender like Calgary is much better off using those assets to acquire a far better player
