Edmonton better say yes. McLeod and Munzenberger are a nobody compared to Necas

LA trade is also decent
Durzi for Hoglander isn't that bad
And
Lias Andersson for Rathbone is quite good

CAR is getting screwed a decent/good 2nd line C and two cap dumps does not cost that. Especially at the ripe age of 27, sorry.
Remove Necas and make it a 2024 first, then maybe.

It really isn’t decent at all. At least for the Kings. I’ll tell you why.

Let’s start with Hoglander. In order for him to improve his numbers and be a more effective player, he has to play on the Top 9. LA’s top 9 is already set. I wouldn’t want him playing on the 4th line.

Kempe-Kopitar-Fiala
Moore-Danault-Arvidsson
Iafallo-Byfield-Kaliyev

Schenn is also not gonna fit in our Top 6 Defense, as that’s full as well, he’ll end up being a Depth D-Man. He also shoots Right, so why would we give up Durzi in this trade, when he’s a RHD as well and is significantly better. Woo is also a RHD, which we don’t need. We have a lot of good RHD both on the roster and prospects, we don’t need to add to our RHD.

Rathbone is a decent D-Man, but if LA is gonna acquire a LHD, I can almost assure you it will be a top 4 LHD, and will be acquired during the Deadline.

Technically Lemieux is also our only “physical guy” so I don’t see many reasons on why to trade him.

We’re not trading Madden for another RHD (Woo).

Considering that Necas, Morrow, Drury, and that first rounder aren’t getting traded, Canes decline in a heartbeat. Canes would sooner pursue Horvat in UFA next year than give up that package.

We would be adding like 10 million in useless salary for multiple years. Not for one hot second.

Every team except Edmonton has a quick and easy pass. Pearson has little value and Poolman has none. In contrast, every single one of those 6 elements on the Hurricanes side has some positive value (even Martinook and Bear). Okposo, although expensive, is worth more to Buffalo than that package. Toronto isn't getting anyone exciting and giving up two prime prospects. And Los Angeles has no need for three of those players; only Rathbone is of interest, and we aren't giving up Durzi for him.

Even more important Girgensons is better than Martinook, and Dickinson.
Myers is over paid by double while Okposo is over paid but not by double.
As @sabres89 pointed out, it extends $10KK of cap for and addition season while consuming a needed roster spot for a young player.

Who the hell is Munzenberger? McLeod is decent but Necas is a top 6 forward. Come on man, Oilers have to take this deal
