Buffalo doesn't have the pieces for a Robertson trade. I don't even think Dallas would do Dahlin for him.

If the Sabers don't have the pieces, who does? They have some of the best prospects and one of the deepest prospect pool in the league.

My 3 year old nephew could provide a more intelligent retort than that.

He gave out a first round pick for Lundkvist. Gave Faksa a long term contract and has made many bad signings Nil is an awful GM.

Doesn't have the pieces? Best prospect pool in the league with all picks still remaining.

I disagree but this at least is an intelligent counter argument.

This is completely Nil fault as to why the stars are going to not have one of their only scoring threats not available.

Best prospect group out there. Very deep as well. Just pick and choose if you are Dallas.

You hit the nail on the head, because DAL is not looking for prospects. At this stage only viable return for Robertson is other established talent. DAL has sold their first so they're too deep to fold their hands on that.

Much more reasonable than the Savoie + Quinn ++++ proposals I’ve been seeing

This is every trade on this site, here are our mid level prospects we don't want for your best player. I'm a Sabres fan and this is just so unrealistic. If we are getting Robertson, a trade would have to start at Cozens or Savoie and a first for a 24 year old 80 point guy.
