I'm surprised Olofsson is so low, he has been really good in the last couple games. He wasn't good in the first couple so maybe that's why his numbers aren't great.

Cozens has been the best forward at EV strength. Just so much more dominant than last year, him and Peterka have been great.


olofsson is a great skater with an elite shot but he' mostly a perimeter player and he doesn't score enough at even strength. He probably has moments where he looks like a top 6 forward but most of the time he's not on the ice for a lot of high danger scoring chances.

Yea, he is an elite role player. Meaning he can't drive play but when set up or in the right positions he is very Elite at what he does. I guess it makes sense he wouldn't have ice tilting numbers.

yeah but if he's not driving play at even strength he should at least be converting on his chances to be worthy of that top 6 role. I think Buffalo should move on from him, he's like their 7th best winger. Skinner, Tuch, Asplund, Peterka, Quinn, Okposo are all much better.

Yea, he is the most expandable. He has been converting hus chances this year so far with 6 goals in 8 games but we will see how consistent that can stay. He also is shooting at 17.1% so is not crazy to think he could at least end with around 40, out of the top 20 goal scorers in the NHL he is 3rd lowest in shooting percentage with Pastrnak, 14% and Zibanajed, 11.8% lower than him. Also I just noticed that Pinto is scoring on 42.9% of his shots tears of joy must be nice.

And now that I just wrote this all it was Kaprizov at 17.1 Olofsson is at 23.1, but we don't expect him to shoot score 60 so I imagine current pace even if out to 15-17% shooting and Olofsson could get 35-40 goals and 60 points. If possible I would even trade Skinner and keep Olofsson because of skinners cap hit and I think they play very similarly. I will have to see if Skinner can do better than he has looked so far this season.
