I don't think that Seider, Werenski and Rielly should be on here.
Markström too high, Sorokin to low.
Also, big fail not to have Bratt as the #1 RW.

Slavin/Pelech over Reilly, Panarin/Guentzel over Landeskog, Point/Petterson over Zibanejad, Ehlers/Fiala over Batherson, Hamilton/Pulock over Doughty/Dobson, Sorokin being at 10 and behind Hart is criminal.

Kane is playing with max domi and athanasiou. Put him with Bergeron and Marchand or hall and krejci, like pasta gets to play with every night, and he'd be the best rw in the league

A good few games and we just ignore the rest of Carter harts career and call him the 6th best goalie in the league?

Morgan Rielly? McKenzie Weegar?

The defense looks a bit out of whack. A few of these guys probably shouldn’t be on top-20 lists or are getting overrated for their offense.

Slavin, Siegenthaler…add some defensive names.

seider was good last szn but yeah i guess hes not a top 10 RD, just couldnt think of names. who would you have over werenski, rielly, and seider, other than slavin (forgot about him too)
would you swap markstrom and sorokin?

Nylander is better than Stone at this point and definitely is better than Batherson. Also Tkachuk plays left wing mainly.

I don’t know, he could be near top-10. He was best defensive player in NHL last year (dWAR) and leads league in expected goals differential (xGF%) this year.

He is a very big part of why Devils have been playing so well.

We traded that third, but the third for the Vitek trade is looking great. Alex Sud. And then Casey vs Chelsey. I really wanted Casey and you guys got him with our pick.

I liked Chesley better before the draft. But happy with Casey…he is electric. Both should have been 1st rounders.

Still don't see what Jack Hughes has done to be considered the 8th best center in the league. His good 56 game run last season? I can name several players who deserve to be above him

The list of active centers with point-per-game seasons in D+3 and D+4 seasons: Crosby, McDavid, Backstrom, Hughes (so far). If he had played NCAA in D+1 and D+2 seasons, it probably wouldn’t be a question.

Hughes is currently 1st among centers in Corsi For%, High Dangers Chances For%, 2nd in Expected Goals For%, etc etc and is one of the most exciting players in NHL at age 21. Doubters beware.

You didn't answer my question. What has Hughes done outside of a good 49 game run to warrant top 8 center status? Less than 20 games into the season, stats are inflated. Nick Suzuki has more points than Hughes and Pettersson. Doesn't matter though. Jack Hughes has to do a lot more than have a good half a season. To put into perspective, Jack Hughes has a very respectable 92 points in his last 100 games. Pettersson has 93 points in his last 100 games, with 40 of those games him playing injured. I'm sorry, but you severely overrate Jack Hughes. You Devils fans tell me that Hughes is miles ahead of Pettersson when in fact he is just a little bit behind. In what world does a guy with a 0.69 point per game average count as a top 10 center? I'm sorry, but he just isn't.

Comparing career stats with Pettersson is silly considering Hughes played nearly two seasons before Pettersson played a single game (when matched for age). And go ahead and ignore all the advanced stats (and eyeball test) suggesting he is among the best in the game.
