i always think, like to start a trade for your best player a team will have to put in their best player and then balance from there. like Petey < Mcdavid so obvs VAN would have to add for that one, but none of this 'we'll give you 3 mid tier prospects, a late 1st rd pick and a bunch of other low picks' if you're trading for value try sending value back.

Strome is doing his job but we do need someone to do more than there job and make plays. We need the guy. Kuzy isn’t doing that this year and because of it Ovis production fell off a bit.

Even if that package could make sense for the Jackets, Pettersson is someone I think the team should avoid. Mostly because he's a very good player with a pretty big contract renegotiation coming up soon who's represented by Pat Brisson.
