Bruins are already as dominant as they come, I cant see them moving Lysell to bolster an already stacked forward group for a guy having a not so good season

Does Boston even have the cap space to pull that off

Don't really think Boston needs Kane and not sure this deal does it for Hawks.

It definitely doesn't do it for the Hawks.

Where do you see beating this? Don’t think the Rangers would beat the deal above? Curious what other fits you see as options?

Lysell may be BOS's best prospect, but they also have one of, if not, the worst prospect pools in the league. I wouldn't put Dach too far behind Lysell if I were to rank NHL prospects. So, that means CHI is trading up 20-25 picks in the 2023 draft, marginally "upgrading" a prospect, taking on a cap dump in Reilly, and giving up a pretty good AHLer in Sikura, in order to move Kane with 50% retention. Take Dach and the 2nd out and CHI accepts.

The Kane deal is likely to end up close to the Giroux deal: a young NHLer OR high end prospect + 1st round pick + another pick in 2nd or 3rd rounder. So Lysell + 1st + 3rd would do it for Kane at 50% alone.

Wow, don't think Chicago does that. Not much there with the Money they are actually taking back or retaining. Isn't Kane only owed like 2mill in actual Money this year after his bonus was payed. And Boston really doesn't need him.

No need for Kane. Only way he comes to Boston is if he says he'll only waive for the Bruins, and the Bruins get him for a Hall type return (2nd + Bjork)

Yeah. I should have said "CHI *maybe* accepts".

It’s definitely better than anything else they’ll get.

Take one look at the bruins roster.

This isn’t a need, desire, or fit.

Boston is good, an injured aging one dimensional winger doesn’t fit.

Kane sucks, and has to agree to where he’s going. I feel like he’s just playing through these injuries to help the hawks get return for him. With his production, injury issues and we have 2 right wings better than him, to give up anything near what hawks fans think is so dumb. He’s just not what we need.

Kane sucks? Lol hot take!
Injury issues? Lol he’s missed 3 games due to injury since the 14-15 season. He has a tweaked knee. He’s fine.

I dont think the Hawks want to move on from Colton Dach, i think he shows signs of being an NHLer at some point. Curious why Boston would be interested in Sikura in this deal.
